What makes it special: This secluded valley was the burial site of queens, princesses, and royal sons. The tombs are smaller than those in the Valley of the Kings, but often more beautifully decorated.
Highlight Tomb:
Tomb of Queen Nefertari (QV66) – one of the most stunning and best-preserved tombs in all of Egypt. Its walls are covered in vivid colors and delicate scenes of the queen’s journey through the afterlife.
